About

DOuble meaning 4-18

It’s Luke 4:18 & the 4-18 Window.

Luke 4:18

Luke 4:18-19 is Jesus’ inaugural address. It’s the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God, and His declaration of the dawning of a New Day. It’s the Mission Mandate of Jesus, direct from Isaiah 61:1-4.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,

because he has anointed me

to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives

and recovering of sight to the blind,

to set at liberty those who are oppressed,

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Luke 4:18-19

Our Prayer is for a Fresh Manifestation of the Luke 4:18 Mission Mandate of Jesus. We are the Body of Christ, which means His Mission is Our Mission, but His Mission requires His Power.

So we pray: “Lord, pour your Spirit Out! Do it again in our day! Do it again in our time!”

4-18 Window

4-18 also refers to the the 4-18 Window — an age demographic — school-aged youth and children, 4 to 18 years of age.

The Next Generation is a Major Ministry Emphasis. We believe this is a Kairos Window of Time, a strategic window for evangelism and discipleship.

We believe it’s a New Day for Long Beach, and we believe the Next Generation is critical to an Awakening. We also believe that a mass turning of the hearts of fathers and mothers toward this next generation is critical to God’s Purpose.

Fathers & mothers are needed for the Fullness of God’s purpose, and youth & children are needed for God’s purpose to come to Fullness. The Body needs the Body.

Destiny is at the intersection of past & future. Our Prayer is Luke 4:18 on the 4-18.
